The Horizon Express is always looking for new members and volunteers.

Ever wanted to work on the railroad? Since our founding in 1939, our operation has been completely operated and maintained by generous volunteers donating their time and skills. No previous experience or skills are necessary! From our mechanical departments to our gift shop, and of course, railroad operations, the opportunities available are endless. All membership levels include a riding pass for the season of their membership.

We offer a variety of membership types to provide the type of volunteer experience you're hoping to share with us. From active memberships that volunteer in weekly operations, to supporting-level associate memberships, student memberships, and more, we hope you find a type of membership that suits your interest. When you're ready, simply fill out the form here on the website and submit the payment with your application.
